ADSL network testing simplified
A compact, handheld field test solution for next generation networks supporting Triple Play services. Equipped with an Ethernet interface, advanced IP connection tests including Ping, trace route, ARP Wiz, Web test, Web browser, and FTP upload/download can be performed to verify high speed Internet access at customer premise equipment such as Set Top boxes (STB), and xDSL modems. Flexible VoIP testing options enable connectivity tests, bi-directional network analysis and VoIP call emulation complete with MOS, latency, and transport impairment results. Technicians will benefit from the NetWiz function which performs LAN cable diagnostics or the optional WiFi Wiz site survey which can be used to validate wireless LAN connectivity. An optional Optical Power Meter adds useful functionality for FTTx networks, while an Advanced PON Power Meter function allows in-service measurement of bi-directional signals between OLT and ONT with an industry standard 2x2 optical coupler.
