The PFS1524 Packet Flow Switch aggregates, filters, disseminates and load-balances network traffic to monitoring, measurement and security tools, optimizing their performance and investment. The PFS1524 supports all types of SFP+ and SFP modules supporting
1G and 10G Ethernet speeds, allowing users to collect and send packets from and to multiple connected devices.

The intuitive web based user interface makes it easy to create clusters (stacks) and manage multiple units within the same window.

Packet filtering allows users to pick and choose specific packets to be forwarded, and packet slicing allows users to forward only the configurable portion of packets to maximize the performance of attached monitoring systems. Port tagging is another innovation the Simena PFS features to mark packets with the ID of the receiving or inbound port.
